Queer Therapy
Queer individuals and couples come to therapy for the same reasons many people do to work through anxiety, relationships, conflict, distance, or periods of transition. This work recognizes those concerns as human and relational, while also acknowledging that queer lives and relationships are shaped within a world that is not always built with them in mind. Therapy offers space to focus on what is happening now, without turning identity into the problem or the explanation.
This work may be a good fit if you are:
Exploring or solidifying aspects of sexual orientation or gender identity
Navigating relationship dynamics shaped by minority stress or past invalidation
Feeling tension between authenticity and belonging
Experiencing anxiety, shame, or hypervigilance related to identity or relationships
Wanting therapy that does not require education or explanation
A queer couple navigating communication, attachment, or trust
